Gian Maria Morlaiter
St. Peter

1744
Church of Santa Maria del Rosario (The Gesuati), Venice

The saint is posed and dressed as in statues of Roman emperors, such as these of Hadrian and Augustus:

As usual, he holds two keys, is balding from the back of the head, and has a short, square beard.
